Alls Well That Ends Well!

School is officially out!!! So it is the beginning of blow-up pools and everything else Kelly described on her blog:-) We are pumped to play play play. We have had a very busy couple of weeks with Memorial Weekend, recitals, graduations; and I just finished cheer tryouts at Blackfoot High. But hopefully we can settle into a leisurely summer and enjoy a dip in the backyard pool with a refreshing lemonade!
There is a little frog pond down from our cabin where Cutthroat's were spawning on Opening Day! Dad and Tate had a heyday! ......and so did a lot of other fishermen....too many;-/. We had the cabin to ourselves, which was wonderful! We made tinfoil dinners, smores, and a yummy breakfast casserole!! We had a great Memorial weekend!

Here is Macy shakin' her groove thang! She is performing in her last dance recital which was Wednesday, May 21! They performed in the auditorium at Hillcrest High School! They performed Cinderelli and Happy tappin' with Elmo. She new all her moves! It was precious;-)

Macy graduated from Discovery Pre-school May 19! She is going to miss her teachers, Miss Deana and Miss Becky! She loves them very much! She sang her little heart out and recited for memory, Jack and Jill! Miss Becky described Macy as their "busy little beauty queen" and boy is she right on the money!!!!

Saturday Sun!

Macy had a cheer camp, today, at Hillcrest High School. She was a little shy but when she performed she did a great job. Tate has been pitching really well for the "Rockies". He hit a triple Thursday night after Grandpa Wes promised him a five dollar bill if he could hit it out in a certain spot Grandpa pointed out. Guess what!.......he hit it right where Grandpa pointed....very cool. We were excited! We have been chasing the kids and it is great!

The kids swam in their blow up pool, tonight, while I weeded flower beds. It was a beautiful evening! I took a much needed nap this afternoon and I was still ready for bed pretty early. Just glad the weather is lookin' up!

OK...I have to brag about my sister so don't gag:-) She is playing point guard for the Airforce Academy on a full-ride scholarship. This year has been so fun following her around the Mountain West and watching my baby sister tear up the court. She is a starter and doing awesome. We went out to Colorado Springs twice to visit her. The campus is wonderful. I am so proud of our country and the class that radiates off that campus. My sister is a great example of class. She is doing great in her classes too. She has Organic Chemistry, Calculus II, Engineering I, and Portugese II all this semester, ouch! But guess what, I'm the one saying ouch, she just shrugs and says it is going fine......She's amazing! I'm proud of her and love my baby sis!

I finally figured out how to upload pictures from e-mail. Here is our Saturday adventures. The blog above it goes with the pictures!!!

Saturday morning began with Tate's arena football game. He played quarterback and di awesome! He passed the ball and then protected the runningback, fullback by running with them and blocking the defense. It was a fun game to watch! Grandma Gayle came up and we met her at Wendy's for a burgar.....then, it was off to Macy's soccer match. Grandma Suzie met us all there. Macy is hilarious. She was really aggressive and then she would turn her attention to cartwheels and butterflies LOL.....I love watching her:-) Matty wants to play soccer too but he is still too young. We let him kick the soccer ball around and he's happy. He's a natural, I think.

We all went home and crashed. It was a nice relaxing day. The weather was great....finally! I mowed the lawn and Aaron fertilized it. We went to dinner at Carinos and then went and read our books at Barnes and Noble....(my favorite date!!!). It was a great Saturday!
