I went on a summer date tonight with my hunky hubby. It was simply wonderful to just sit across from him in a restaurant booth listening to some country tunes, eating A LOT and enjoying his company. I don't remember really what we talked about but I do know that it just felt good! We ventured over to the West side for a steak dinner at Ruby River! I have been busy these last two weeks with girl's camp and cheer camp..... I love my girls but I sure have missed my man and kids....Oh yea, I am a wife and mother....LOL.



No, seriously, these last two weeks have made me realize how very blessed I am. I have just enjoyed staying home and hugging on my family. My young women are very special. I very much enjoyed spending time with them and hearing what trully matters to them. I love my cheerleaders, too, they are all working very hard and we made it through the UofU 100 degree weather....Woohoo!!

My life is very full but I have realized what trully makes me the most fulfilled and at peace...my family.... and making sure that they are well taken care of. Now we are indulging in swimming lessons and spending time with my little sister! She is home from Airforce!! Hope you are all enjoying the summer.

The Fourth at Aunt Ruth's

This picture is at Tate's first All-star tourny in St.Anthony. We took third. Tate is playing well and having fun. We are all cooking in the sun between ball games and swimming. Just so glad it is warm! I hope everyone has a great Fourth! I get emotional on the fourth because of that darn touching song by Lee Greenwood!! I love hearing it and I noticed that Melinda has it playing on her blog....thank you, Melinda. I will miss my book club friends this next week! Have fun at Julie's....loved the read!!! I am proud to be an American!
