My little wanderer......

My Macy has been wandering the neighborhood and branching out to streets that are further and further away from home. She goes on these adventures without asking me and therefore, has caused me some major stress in the last couple of weeks. I tell her that she must tell me what she is doing for obvious reasons; but she has ventured off a couple of times even after I have tried to drill into her independent mind that there are creepos out there that could take her. Through the scary "what ifs" I am experiencing while tracking down her pink princess bike, I have to chuckle, because she rides her bike soooo fast right down the middle of the road.....and I rememeber that care-free, brave feeling of childhood.

Windows Live Hotmail

<
We had a nice night watching football in Firth. If every night could be this beautiful outside, life would be heaven! I love Fall especially for these Indian summers. I hope it lasts as long as possible. Listened to McCain's running mate, Sara Palin, tonight! What an inspiration!

Tate is a Tackler and Tightend!

Tate is having fun with Grid Kid football! The sun is in his eyes in this picture. But I had to take his picture because he is so darn cute. He's in the 4th grade and doing really well. He told me the other day that it was really hard to be quiet but that he has been doing it. I told him that I was so glad that he was trying! He is a happy boy and I am so glad. He has good friends and just an easy-going personality. I couldn't ask for an easier child to raise. He helps me so much. I am happy to be his mamma. It is bittersweet to watch him grow but I wouldn't miss it for the world!
